Chartered Physiotherapist

I graduated from the university of Essex in 2013 with a BSc Physiotherapy Degree. 

I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP),  a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Oncology and Palliative Care (ACPOPC),  and registered with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC).

 

​I have worked as a locum Physiotherapist for both the County Council and the NHS working in the community in Huntingdonshire Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. 

 

In 2016 I started to set up a private physiotherapy practice, unfortunately I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer a few months later.  Although the diagnosis was a shock I was grateful for my physiotherapy knowledge as it helped me through the consequences of my cancer treatments (Chemotherapy, Surgery and Radiotherapy).  They say that experiences in life can shape change you, my cancer journey certainly has.  I completed a Level 4 in Cancer & Exercise Rehabilitation with Canrehab, a William Fourie Fascia course and Acupuncture all adding to my many treatment modalities to help my clients.

I am very passionate about my work and focus on delivering evidenced based physiotherapy assessments and treatments in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, either in your home or at the Bee Better Physio Clinic in Huntingdon.

 

I have grown into a trusted and popular Physiotherapist and am proud that I have gained most of my clients via word of mouth.
